While many gamers have no doubt seen the upcoming Dark Souls III PC version being ran on multiple Youtube and Twitch channels, we never really got an idea of what the actual minimum and recommended specs would be for the game. That is until a short while ago. As posted on the official Japanese Dark Souls III website, the official requirements have been listed.
Minimum:
- Intel Core i5 2500 3.3GHz / AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
- 8 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti / ATI Radeon HD 6870
- At least 20 GB available space
Recommended:
- Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz
- 8 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or equivalent
- At least 20 GB available space
The website also indicates that they recommend running a Nvidia based graphics card for Dark Souls III, which may or may not mean that AMD cards will run worse than their green team competitors.
Dark Souls III releases on April 12, 2016 for PC on Steam.
