Previously Microsoft announced and released the widely asked for Xbox One Wireless Adapter for the PC, with one major issue; it only was supported on Windows 10. However as of today, Microsoft had reversed that decision and has made it so that previously OS’s, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are now supported by the adapter.
So for everyone who either didn’t want to upgrade to Windows 10 just yet or didn’t trust the OS due to the reports of invasion of privacy, you just got rewarded, assuming you wanted to use an wireless Xbox One controller on your PC.
