Recently it was brought to light there was an application in development that would allow PS4 remote play to the PC, similar to how you can do it now with the PS Vita and PlayStation TV. While this was thought to be an official project from Sony, it was later discovered that wasn’t correct. However in recent light, it seems that Sony apparently is working on their own application to provide remote play to the PC and Mac after all.
This was confirmed today by Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, better know as the president of Sony Computer Entertainment.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. :D

So there you have it, Sony’s on-board to getting the PC involved with the PlayStation 4 now. This could be a game changer folks! Hopefully that also means we’re finally get official Dualshock 4 controller support for the PC as well.
