The team (Coalition) behind upcoming Gears of War remake, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, have put out yet another video regarding the upcoming remake. This time around they’re talking about the differences between the original title, how it felt and played and how to transfer those experiences over. When Gears of War first launched all those years ago, it was a big deal. Between that and Halo, this is what made the Xbox 360 the home for FPS players and this is what they want to tap into again but with better features; 1080p, 60FPS, dedicated servers and much more.
The perfect game for fans and newcomers alike, and a great primer for setting the stage for the next title, Gears of War 4.
If you’re ever played Gears of War, any of the series and have a interest in what’s going on in the ultimate version, check this video out… and then decide if this is for
you or not.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches on August 25 for $39.99 on the Xbox One, or if you’re picking up a shiny new Xbox One, well then it’s a free copy for you my friends. If you’re looking for the PC version, well that won’t hit until later on, there’s no current release date just yet.
