At this weekend’s Yuru Yuri Nanamori Chu Yagai Fest, plans were revealed to broadcast Yuru Yuri Season 3 this fall.
The third season, known as Yuru Yuri San☆Hai!, will air starting October. Leading into the event, there will be an OVA – Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi!, in July. This will be followed by Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi! + specials in August and September.
It was also revealed that Hiroyuki Hata, rather than the first two seasons’ Masahiko Oota, will be directing the show. Hata will also be writing the show along with Makoto Fukami, who previously worked on Pyscho-Pass. Motohiro Taniguchi will be handling character design and animation for the OVA and specials.
Yuru Yuri Seasons 1 and 2, which aired in 2011 and 2013 respectively, revolve around a group of girls who take over the Tea Ceremony Club to establish the Amusement Club.
