Microsoft has announced a new bundle for the Xbox One, adding the Halo: Master Chief Collection in the box. 343’s Collecting of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4, are now bundled with the Xbox One for $349, coming out later this month.
Microsoft lowered the Xbox One’s price from $499 to $399 to $349, back up to $399, and now back down to $349. The $349 price tag was the most successful for Microsoft during the last holiday season and they are now returning to that price for the time being, including for the bundles.
Halo: Master Chief Collection has had more than it’s share of problems since release, but 343 has been rolling out patches trying to fix the games since then. The newest patch is the biggest to date and attempts to fix the matchmaking multiplayer problems. Hopefully 343 will be able to fix most of the problems with the collection and this bundle will be more than just an Xbox One with a free game.
