Ever since I was a little boy and I first saw the movie “Tron“, I was hooked. In fact, that movie alongside a couple of other computer-related movies is exactly what got me so interested in computers and the IT professional field, which is my career of today. And then again a few years ago with Tron: Legacy had gotten the green light and finally produced (2010), well it was a good time for me. Sadly it didn’t fare so well at the box office and the fate of the series seemed pretty grim.
And now, after Tron: Legacy, I wasn’t sure if Disney was going to try to follow up on the movie. Especially since they killed off their kick-ass cartoon series, Tron: Uprising (Why Disney, why?). But low and behold, we’re actually getting a third Tron film, Tron: Ascension. And while there’s a lot of speculation as to how the new movie will tie into the second film, nothing has been stated directly by the director, Joseph Kosinski, just yet.

However, it seems that Joesph has hand plans for this movie for quite some time and Screenrant had the scoop on that about two years ago now.
TLDR; Tron 3? It’s coming? I can’t wait!
