Readers might remember the announcement on Edge of Eternity‘s Kickstarter going live this last Sunday (February 15th). Less than 3 days later, the project has already met its initial goal of $44,000. As outlined by their Kickstarter page, this guarantees a launch for Windows, Macs, and Linux.
At the time of this posting, the project is closing in on the $55,000 mark, which means Edge of Eternity is only roughly $5,000 away from seeing a Playstation 4 and XBox One release. If this enthusiastic amount of funding continues, Midgar Studio should have no problem hitting the rest of Edge of Eternity‘s stretch goals, the last of which includes music from famed composer Yasunori Mitsuda, whose recent works includes the 3DS’ Kid Icarus Uprising and Xenoblade Chronicle for the Nintendo Wii (which is seeing a remaster later this year exclusively on the New Nintendo 3DS).
