Yes folks, your eyes are not playing tricks on you, these are the actual specs and damn if they aren’t beastly. Minimum specs include at least an Core i5-2500k and recommended is an i7-3770, as well as 64-bit gaming being introduced as the mainstream with Windows 8/8.1 being required. Sorry Windows 7 users! These specs are higher than most average PC gamers are rocking in their current rigs according to Steam’s most recent hardware survey – here.
I don’t know about you all but I was hoping my trusty and overclocked i5-3570k was going to get me past this title and that I wouldn’t have to upgrade to at least Star Citizen but at the resolution I’m going to wait to play Witcher 3 at I’m not sure anymore. Any even still if PC are requiring this type of power then how the hell are the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions going to fare?
What about you all? Is your PC up to it or is it feeling the pressure now?
