As part of the ongoing G-STAR 2014 event that is taking place in Korea this week, a number of titles have been announced including the eagerly awaited Ghost in the Shell Online that is being developed by Nexon. For those not in the know, this game has actually been in development since 2012 and one point it was rumored that development had stopped as there was no news regarding the title for a while.
Since its absence a number of games that are influenced from the GitS world including Deus Ex HR and NeoTokyo have been released but it’s good to see the original piece actually still being worked on. The game is a FPS with the ability to hack and modify your body, microtransactions are also planned however there isn’t any mention as to what extent they apply. The title is slated to be released in the first half of 2015 for the PC, no word of if this will also be released in the North American market.
