If you’re a fan of Minecraft and you own a PlayStation 4 then sadly you’re time to play in a lego-like sandbox world will simply have to wait a bit longer. Recently Minecraft was sent through Sony’s certification process and apparently didn’t pass all the tests so it’s up to 4J Studios to fix the issues and sent it through the process again.
Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 :( We’re fixing, but we need to go through the process again.— 4J Studios (@4JStudios) August 20, 2014
The PlayStation 4 version was slated to ship this month along side of a Xbox One version which is also in bug testing now, prior to sending it off to Microsoft’s certification process.
Certification is a rough and nail-biting experience, here’s hoping 4J Studios can get the issues resolved and Minecraft into the hands of those PlayStation 4 owners.
