There’s the Ouya, the Gamestick, Matcatz’s M.O.J.O, countless other generic Android consoles, the upcoming Huawei Tron (which looks to be the Ouya 2.0) and now the Xtremer Multi-Console. At first look at the system you would think that it’s just another entry in the long line of Android consoles and you’d be correct, however this console seems to include a twist in comparion to the other Android consoles in that it’s being pushed as an all in one device.
Taking a look at the website for the device you can see that not only is entertainment being pushed but also productivity as the Xtremer Multi-console is shown being connected to a keyboard, mouse and printer while doing basic PC functions such as word processing, email,web browsing and much more. Something that the other consoles haven’t included and it could be an incentive for many potential buyers who productivity in mind. Another inclusion is the use of several key streaming services for both audio and video such as Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, HBO Go and Vevo. Lastly it seems that there will be no issue with using the default Google Play market, something that the Ouya does not include. It also seems to include technology that allows it to emulate Google’s Chromecast, Miracast Wifi, Airplay for streaming from iOS (6/7), DLNA

However after looking at the website it seems to be a tad misleading as there are images of several popular games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Uncharted, games that are not available on the Android platform. Emulation is definitely a huge deal when it comes to the Android gaming platform and Xtremer is no exception as it also seems to be a key part of the device. It was also noted that it does not include a gamepad and that the Moga Pro is recommended however since Bluetooth and USB is included I would imagine that any Bluetooth or USB enabled controller will work
