Following the announcement in November 2013 that Kiss had added the entire digital portfolio of games from Funbox Media Ltd to their catalogue, the first two games – GUNMETAL and GUILTY GEAR ISUKA – are available today.
GUNMETAL is a 3-D mech shooter originally released back in 2002 on the Xbox and PC. Set on the futuristic world of Helios, use the Havoc Suit to battle-ground-based enemies, or transform in the blink of an eye into an agile jet and take on aircraft in high-speed dogfights. By comparison, GUILTY GEAR ISUKA is a classic 2D beat ‘em up first released on console and PC back in 2003 and was the fifth instalment in the Guilty Gear series.
Darry Still, CEO Kiss Ltd commented “It won’t matter if you recall the game’s first time round or are new to them, GUNMETAL and GUILTY GEAR ISUKAwill act as a reminder of the glory days of console gaming”. Mark Clemens, UK Sales Director Funbox, added “Both titles are excellent examples of what the Funbox catalogue is all about – a superb mix of retro, fun gaming”.
The SRP for both games is set at $9.99 £6.99 and they are available for digital download from all key retail vendor sites today.
